Course Description
Governing
equations for non-hydrostatic dynamics, mixed phase thermodynamics
and microphysics. Cumulus parameterization and scale
interactions. Application to theoretical and numerical
models of thunderstorms (and attendant weather phenomena)
and Mesoscale Convective Systems in the extra tropics
and tropics. Prereq: ATM OCN 610, 630.
