
The University of Wisconsin-Madison local chapter of the American Meteorological Society strives to continue the growth of our AOS community through insightful learning experiences and recreational activities. Our intent is to help bridge the connection between academia and the real world environment by promotion interaction among students and working professionals. Through our organization, we hope the member gains a greater sense of awareness of the many exciting opportunities offered in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences.

The UW AMS has ordered 50 tickets to the Brewers game on Friday April 20th so if you want to go just stop by in the 8th floor main office with Toni. Prices are as follows...
$25 for AMS UW-Chapter members (those that have paid their $10 dues for the year)
$30 for non-AMS and other guests
We are currently only limiting each person to bring one (1) guest but if space is still available the week prior to the game then more than one guest will be allowed.
The bus will leave at 3pm with the game starting at 7:10pm. Cans of soda and alcoholic beverages are allowed but please refrain from bringing glass bottles, kegs (really?), ect.

Bart Adrian from UW-Milwaukee came to discuss his career in meteorology. Adrian graduated with a B.S. from Northwestern University and a M.S. from Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison and continued to work at Fox-6 in Milwaukee for 28 years before currently teaching at UW-Milwaukee.
