Sea Level Pressure Map
Temperature Map
Instructions for Assignment
Contour sea level pressure every 4mb (i.e. 1000, 1004, 1008, etc.). Contour temperature every 5 degrees from 25 to 75.
Final Map should include: sea level pressure contours, fronts, and labeled High (H) and/or Low (L) pressure centers (if present).
You will be expected to hand in all three maps stapled together with the final map on top. Also, make sure that your name is
NEATLY written on the front of the final map. The Final Map will be the only map graded, but it must be consistent with the other two maps.
Finally, cheating is NOT ACCEPTABLE for this assignment and will result in a grade of zero for all involved!!!
Grading
We will be grading the maps according to the five following criteria: neatness (N), contour interval (CI), accuracy (A), label the
low (LL), label the contours (L).
