Teacher Training on Carbon Cycle and Climate Modeling
July 14-16, 2009
Madison, WI
This workshop will provide an overview of climate mechanisms and climate change by focusing on the carbon cycle. Expert presentations, group discussions and interactive computer training, including classroom applications of the EdGCM (Educational Global Climate Model) with be central activities in this 2.5 day workshop. Participating teachers will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to incorporate carbon cycle and climate modeling tools into their classrooms while simultaneously deepening their overall comprehension of the climate system.
