WISCONSIN Winter:
Maximum Consecutive Days of Zero or Subzero Conditions

One of the ways used to judge the severity of a Wisconsin winter is by the number of days when the air temperature did not rise above zero degrees Fahrenheit.

The following table lists the maximum number of days where the temperature at selected stations failed to "crack zero."
