• The week of 14-18 March 2011 will be Wisconsin Flood Safety Awareness Week.
• In April, the week of 11-15 April 2011 has been declared as Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week in Wisconsin; a statewide tornado drill will be conducted on the afternoon of Thursday 14 April 2011. 
• Wednesday 12 May 2010 was NOAA Weather Radio All-Hazards Day in Wisconsin
