The Atmospheric Radiation and Climate Research Group is an enthusiastic group of scientists with a range of expertise covering radiative transfer, state-of-the art atmospheric remote sensing, complex data analysis, numerical modeling, and field work. We seek energetic individuals interested in pursuing careers in statellite remote sensing and global climate to join our dynamic research team. Motivated students at either the MS or PhD level and qualified post-docs are encouraged to contact us for more information.

- 2012-08-30 - Welcome
We are happy to introduce four new members to our research team: new students Tracey, Ethan, and Erik and research scientist Dr. Norm Wood. - 2012-08-15 - Aerosol Study
A new study conducted in collaboration with researchers at PNNL reveals that global models may significantly over-estimate the sensitivity of precipitation occurrence to aerosols (see the highlight in Science). - 2011-12-21 - Datasets Released
Two CloudSat rainfall datasets co-developed by members of our group were officially released to the science community today.
