ANNOUNCEMENTS
At the midpoint of the fifth Week of Class:
- Homework #3 was handed out in class on Wednesday, 1 October 1997. It
is due in one week, on Wednesday 8 October 1997.
- Homework #2 which was due last Monday, 29 September 1997 has
been graded and returned. Please pick up your graded homework
if you have not done so.

- If you need to ask me any questions, please e-mail me If you
are using email, please make sure that you supply your correct
e-mail address, because I may not be able to respond if you wrote
me from a terminal as "guest".
- The First hour exam is scheduled for a week from Friday, or
it will be held on 10 October 1997 during regular class time.

forthcoming.
- Please read the UW Notice

process for receiving and addressing student complaints and concerns
in TA-assisted courses.
