Research interests: atmospheric dynamics, the general circulation, transport and mixing, UTLS structure, volanic aerosol, ozone layer, chemical transport modeling, the role of inertial instability, PV dipoles in tropical and extratropical cyclones, influence of the QBO on the tropical and subtropical UTLS.
