Local command(s) for showing available printers

On the AOS department unix machines, the commmand: 

 lpc status

will show the available printers.

Generally, you will be printing on the synoptic lab printer (named synoptic) or on one of your advisor's printers. Check with your advisor or some of their students to find out which printers are available.
