Ankur Desai Receives AGU Sulzman Award

Ankur Desai, AOS professor and chair, has been named the recipient of the 2025 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Sulzman Award for Scientific Excellence through Education and Mentoring. This award is presented in recognition of significant contributions as a role model and mentor for the next generation of biogeoscientists, especially those underrepresented in Earth sciences. Desai guides and inspires students in his Ecometeorology Lab and beyond, and his leadership and teaching enrich the department. Congratulations and well deserved, Ankur!
