Influence of Tropical Convection on Antarctic General Circulation
Introduction
This work addresses questions such as:
- What is the sensitivity of extratropical anomalies to the location of tropical forcing?
- How do planetary wave activity paths differ by season and by ENSO phase?
- How do ENSO anomalies in the Antartic depend on month and data records?
- Will these patterns and mechanisms change in the future?
