Kristin Nines

Kristin is currently the Director of Academic Business Affairs for the College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management at Marquette University. She is an experienced University Administrator who manages the day-to-day business operations, including human resources, financial, budget, marketing, building and space management, and regulatory requirements of a college with diversified and complex programs in research and teaching. Prior to joining Marquette University, Kristin spent 13 years in a similar role at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in the Department of Biophysics and Center for Imaging Research.

Kristin received her B.S. in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996. She worked for the National Weather Service in Madison and Milwaukee/Sullivan from 1995 to 1998. Kristin then switched fields and received her MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2000. Despite the change in career direction, she is still a weather geek at heart and still follows the weather and NWS very closely.

Kristin resides in the Milwaukee area with her husband Peter and their daughter is currently a sophomore at UW-Madison (a proud 4th generation Badger!!) majoring in Industrial Engineering and Data Analytics.
