My name is Andrew Quigley, and I am a two-time (B.S. 2020; M.S. 2021) graduate of the UW AOS program. I was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Professional Masters Program, and started my career as a Pathways intern at the Weather Prediction Center in College Park, MD. I have since moved on to a meteorologist position at WFO Austin-San Antonio, located in New Braunfels, TX.

The thing I've always loved most about the field of atmospheric & oceanic sciences is that everybody has tremendous levels of passion for what they do. This was no different with the classmates and professors I had during my time at the University of Wisconsin. The AOS department became a second home for me, helping to forge lifelong friendships and mentorships in the process. I feel a strong calling to continue to support the comaraderity and passion that the department has to offer, which has inspired me to serve as a member of the Alumni Board. I look forward to working with other alumni, faculty, and students in the coming months!
