Emma Sinclair

Emma Sinclair is a proud graduate of the AOS program, earning her bachelor's degree in 2019. Originally hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Emma has since moved around a bit and currently resides in Houston, TX, where she has been working as an Energy Trader for Pattern Energy since 2022. With the growing prominence of wind and solar energy, Emma's background in meteorology greatly enhances her ability to do her daily responsibilities as a trader.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Emma served as a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in North Platte, Nebraska. In this role, she executed standard meteorological duties while also enjoying the unique experience of launching weather balloons. During her time at Wisconsin, Emma was actively engaged in the Student Chapter of AMS and Lions Club. She also pursued a double major in Environmental Studies, which sparked her passion for renewable energy.

In her personal life, Emma enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her cat, Bucky. She is thrilled to join the alumni board and contribute to the student community. On, Wisconsin!
