Erin Duke
I am a 2nd graduate student under Tristan L’Ecuyer and Steve Vavrus. I began my graduate studies in the Professional Master’s Program in 2024, then transferred to the Research Master’s Program in 2025. My research includes studying the frequency of mild weather days, “Goldilocks Days”, in the past, present and future, as well as identifying the economic and social influences this can have on communities.
I am originally from the Hudson Valley, NY, and got my bachelor’s in meteorology from the State University of NY at Oneonta. Outside of academics, I love to garden, practice karate, and I foster cats!
