Jonathan Chambers

Hello! I am Jonathan Chambers! I am a second-year master’s student, who works as a Project Assistant for the Antarctic Meteorological Research and Data Center (AMRDC) in the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC). I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Atmosphere Sciences (Broadcasting Concentration) at Vermont State University-Lyndon and a minor in Russian and Eurasian Studies. At AMRDC, my research is focused on analyzing cloud mass meridional transport events (CMMTs) over Antarctica and how satellite observations compare to physical climate models and algorithms. I also collect and organize weather observations from various field camps in Antarctica within our data repository.
